 The bottle cap sealing tester is used to measure the sealing performance of bottled and canned beverage lids to prevent gas leakage, effectively controlling the quality of packaging seals.

It is suitable for testing PET bottles, glass bottles, and canned products, as well as independently measuring the sealing performance of crown caps and PET bottle caps.

The tester detects leaks by pressurizing submerged samples in water and observing bubble formation at the seal.

Testing Principle:

The Closure Seal Tester is used to examine the sealing performance of PET beverage bottle caps. During testing, the sample is placed in a water tank, and a certain amount of gas is injected into the upper part of the sample to increase internal pressure beyond normal atmospheric conditions, thereby testing the seal integrity of the sample's closure.

For samples with qualified sealing performance, they will withstand the additional pressure without showing any signs of leakage. For samples with unqualified sealing performance, bubbles will emerge from the cap area, which can be easily observed by operators. By detecting gas leakage rather than liquid leakage, the measurement sensitivity is maximized.

The pressure inside the test sample can be controlled through a pressure reducer, while the flow rate of the pressurized gas can be adjusted via a flow control valve. By regulating the gas pressure, operators can determine the maximum pressure that the seal or container can withstand before leakage occurs. By controlling the gas flow rate, a more precise internal bottle pressure can be established, allowing operators to read the pressure value at which leakage occurs and thus assess the severity of the sealing failure.

The ZL-9025C Closure Seal Tester incorporates multiple safety features, including a safety valve, rapid gas exhaust ports on the instrument cover, a safety lid lock, a pressure reducer, and a cylindrical water tank for immersing test samples.
